More about your Instructor Jan Lang

Jan has been teaching in the field of Massage Therapy since 2000.  Her career began in 1999 after graduating from the Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage and became Nationally Certified as a NCBTMB practitioner.  She is founder and owner of Alternative Connections in Marysville, Michigan, where she currently maintains her private practice.  In 2008 she became a NCBTMB continuing education provider and founded AC Advance Learning Center to provide continuing education for therapists looking to learn new skills and concepts to better serve their practice.  She believes that hands on workshops create the advancement of techniques, heightens knowledge and supports the value of standards in the field of Massage Therapy.  Jan has held many continuing educational workshops throughout the State of Michigan; she has also presented several times for the Michigan Association of Chiropractors and the AMTA State Chapter events in Michigan, Idaho and Tennessee.

Not only have I been a Massage Therapist in private practice, I also bring my knowledge of over 50 years in the fitness industry as a competitive gymnast, Personal Trainer, Certified Aerobics and Yoga Instructor to the classroom.  I enjoy sharing my knowledge with those that wish to learn new ideas and thoughts for the betterment of massage therapy.
